The Community Engagement and Marketing Department strives to achieve its goals, promote solidarity with members of the community, and play an active role in all areas related to highlighting the university and its educational and academic identity within an integrated system governed by social responsibility under the education policy in the Sultanate of Oman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing annual plans and follow-up their implementation after approval.
- Contributing to the implementation of the university's identity.
- Preparing and producing print and electronic media materials for various university events in coordination with relevant departments.
- Coordinating with visual and print media to cover university events and activities.
- Coverage of university news.
- Supervising/participating in various committees as required by the nature of work at the university (graduation ceremonies, conferences, etc.).
- Producing short video clips (promotional, event coverage, documentation, etc.).
- Effective communication with the media and their correspondents to highlight the university's role.
- Conducting studies and proposals aimed at developing work in the department.
- Participating in exhibitions that serve education (small, medium, and large).
- Coordinating with relevant entities at the university to organise conferences, celebrations, and exhibitions.
- Coordinating with faculty members and some university staff to facilitate their contributions through the newspaper.
- Disseminating and publishing university advertisements.
- Coordinating with purchasing regarding the reception and accommodation of university guests.
- Supervising the University Guest Programme.
- Providing and preparing souvenir gifts for guests and visitors.
- Supervision of the main reception.
- Supervision of the Call Center.
- Promoting the culture of Community Engagement and Marketing among various university staff categories.
