The Arab Open University (AOU) fosters an open and equal opportunity environment conducive to intellectual development as well as theoretical and applied research. All staff members should conduct research to enhance the quality of teaching and learning resources.
As a contributing partner, AOU participates in promoting research and scholarly activities in areas of special concern to Arab society. Research priorities are determined by specialized committees at the branch and headquarters levels, and funding is provided by AOU as well as external partners who may participate in planning, implementation, and making use of research findings.
