Library catalogues include bibliographic records for both Arabic and foreign books and periodicals in all disciplines. For cataloguing the resources Dewey Decimal Classification System is followed and provides information services for its patrons in accordance with the policies and procedures in the management of the library.
1. Guidance and training services:
Library provides guidance and training to educate its beneficiaries about the available physical and online resources. Through regular workshops, the users are briefed on topics such as how to retrieve information from the e-library databases and the rules of using the electronic information and different sources of information etc. The workshops are conducted on a regular basis individually or periodically as they are arranged every semester.
2. Reference Services:
Library provides reference services to its users in locating the required information accurately and quickly from the various resources available to the library in both print and electronic forms.
3. To search in the databases:
This service aims to assist in searching the required information from the specialized databases that the university subscribes to.
4. Borrowing Services:
The library provides borrowing services for its users who require the resources to be taken out of the library for a stipulated period of time. The users can borrow all the resources except the reference materials and the periodicals and the reserved materials which imply the policy related to them.

5. Reserve materials service:
The library provides assistance in obtaining urgent course reference reserves as per the request of the instructors and for the resources that are in high demand and once obtained they are made available for the users inside the library.
6. Current Awareness Service:
This service aims to inform the faculty members about the availability of resources at the library in their area of interest by compiling and delivering the bibliography to the academic departments quarterly.
