Hamad Said Mohammed Al-Kalbani holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Law with a specialization in Public Law. He is the Dean of the College of Law and Legal Advisor at the Arab Open University in the Sultanate of Oman. He also serves as an arbitrator and external examiner for several colleges. A licensed attorney authorized to plead before all courts in the Sultanate of Oman at all levels, he specializes in Negotiation Law and the Documentation of International Contracts. He is an accredited international arbitrator in investment contract disputes and has several research papers published in peer-reviewed academic journals. He supervised a number of master’s theses and also examined several others. His professional experience spans the legal, diplomatic, administrative, and academic fields.
