I am an Omani academic who has been working in local higher
education institutions for about four years after two decades at the ministry
of education.
I have been working as a lecturer of English at A’Sharqiya
University and the Arab Open University-Oman. Prior to this, I worked at the Ministry
of Education holding variable positions ranging from a teacher, a trainer,
supervisor and finally as a senior supervisor of English heading a section responsible
of monitoring more than 900 staff of English language teaching.
This range of 27-year experience has promoted my skills of leadership,
team-management, strategic planning, academic supervision, coaching, mentoring
and communication.
