The dream of completing my studies was recurrent after the last incomplete phase in 2002, and despite my various attempts to enroll in several universities inside and outside Oman, I did not find anything interesting to complete the registration and return to the study seats.
One night in February 2013, I met a friend who had attended the Arab Open University in Oman and inspired me with the gains of open education for laborers who missed out on their higher education like me.
I didn't wait long, as I signed up the next day and started my first lectures in the same week, after which that event would be a major change in my scholastic and practical life.
Perhaps the most important turning point for that change was my joining the peer assistance program at the Arab Open University, an experiment that put me in the face of a passion for teaching that never occurred to me before and opened a new career path for me.
The Arab Open University has given me the opportunity to develop English language skills, communication skills, and research in addition to benefiting from contemporary academic content. Meanwhile, I completed my bachelor's and master's degree in business administration with excellence with the praise and guidance of Allah to crown this journey in 2017 by joining as a full-time lecturer in the same major and at the same inspiring university.
The journey continued after 2017 to continue graduate studies in business administration and in Malaysia in particular and graduated in 2021 with a Ph.D. from Selangor University to open a new door for me as coordinator of the business administration program at the same university where I was a student.
I will always be faithful to this distinguished university, to its teachers, and to all those who inspired and encouraged me there, even if the plans for the future took me away from it.
