Celebrates the graduation of the eighth, ninth and tenth batches of its students

On Thursday, 16th of June, the Arab Open University - Sultanate of Oman celebrated the graduation of the eighth, ninth, and tenth batches which comprised 1332 graduates of diploma, bachelor, and master's degrees. The celebration was under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud

and in the presence of Prof. Mohammed Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University in the Arab world.
The celebration began with a visual presentation that included an introduction about the Arab Open University's contributions and the vision of its founder, the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, towards spreading education in the Arab world, and the university's aspiration to be one of the leading higher educational institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. The AOU adopted an educational system, the first of its kind in the Arab world, the Open Learning system, which utilizes modern technologies and digital means of communication, and eliminates time and space barriers.
The program of the ceremony included a speech by the AOU Rector in the Sultanate,
Prof. Mohammed bin Hamdan Al-Badi, during which he referred to the university's vision, the most important achievements of the university, and research contributions. Besides scientific, academic, and professional partnerships with a group of local and international institutions.
After that, the graduates' certificates of the degrees of Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Master of Education in Instructional Technology, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor and Diploma in Information Technology & Computing were handed out.
Afterwards, Prof. Mohamed Al-Zakari, AOU President in the Arab world, delivered his speech in which he congratulated the graduates and praised the noticeable role of the AOU in spreading the message of science and knowledge, pointing to the admirable achievements of the graduates.
His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University, delivered his speech. He praised the efforts made to keep pace with digital change in light of the changes that have occurred in the world as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. He also emphasized the issue of developing curricula and modern educational mechanisms and the work to improve educational services at the university. He commended the academic and administrative staff of the Arab Open University in the Sultanate for their tireless work to achieve the planned goals.

The second part of the ceremony was the graduation of the Bachelor of Business Administration. Then, the graduate Bader Al-Kharousi gave the alumni speech.
In the last part of the ceremony, the diploma in business administration was graduated, and the bachelor's and diploma in English language and literature were graduated. The ceremony concluded with the awarding of a souvenir to the patron of the ceremony.
