Arab Open University – Oman invites Omani applications for the following academic position, with appointment effective from the First Academic Semester of the Academic Year 2026–2027, as follows:
Assistant Lecturer in English Language – Foundation Studies Unit

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum bachelor's degree in teaching English, Linguistics, or Literature (preferably with a recognized teaching qualification such as CELTA, TEFL, TEFLA, or equivalent).
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- English proficiency demonstrated by IELTS Band 6.5 or TOEFL Paper 575 / TOEFL iBT 90–91.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, Internet, and email applications.
- At least two years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
- Research or publications in ESL/EFL are preferred.
