Roles
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated network systems.
- Administrate and troubleshoot the network and security devices such as: routers, firewalls, switches, WLAN, IPS, IDS, Web filtering, traffic shaping, IP telephony, network printers, access control, and CCTV.
- Optimize data center operations with mastery in
Cisco Core Switches (C960xx).
- Manage robust switches for high-performance
server farm environments (C9300-xx).
- Deploy and secure
edge networking for efficient resource distribution (C9200-xx).
- Ensure network
perimeter security using
FortiGate Internet Firewalls.
- Proficiently manage wireless networks with expertise in
Wireless Controller (C9800-xx).
- Utilize
Cisco Prime for comprehensive network lifecycle management.
- Implement identity management with the
Identity Security Engine.
- Fortify data centers with Cisco's next-gen firewall protection.
- Centrally manage network security with
Cisco Firepower Management Center.
- Integrate voice services within a digital network architecture using
Voice Gateway and
Cisco Call Manager.

Cisco® 4000 Family Integrated Services Routers (ISRs)
- Proactively optimize and manage network performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enhance the overall security posture of the network.
- Works with vendors to resolve network problems.
- Documents network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Engage in all projects related to network upgrades and IT infrastructure technical refresh and prepare the necessary request for proposals and technical evaluations in coordination with the IT manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's in network engineering or equivalent.
- CCNA certification, (Routing, Switching and wireless)
- CompTIA Network+ (N10-009)
- Cyber Security Certifications & any certifications for the above Cisco devices
- 2 years of hands-on experience in complex network environments.
