Dr. Mahmood Al Wahaibi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Studies of Arab Open University in the Sultanate of Oman. He Holds Ph.D in Finance from Brunel University London, Master of Science in Finance from Webster University London and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Accounting from Majan College in Oman. His previous work experience is related to Public Finance as he worked for the Ministry of Finance for nearly a decade and half as a Senior Financial Studies Specialist. This role allowed him to gain general exposure to national economy subjects, and specific experience in other fields, namely: Public Accountancy and Pension Funds Regulation. Currently, he is pursuing his career path in the academic sector and his research interest are related to the subjects of Corporate Finance, Management Accounting, Budgeting and Public Finance.
